I am running a paddle on Sunday 3rd July from Shotley to Mistley and back.

The paddle is approx. 21 miles / 8 hours paddling, and therefore only suitable for intermediate or above level paddlers with longer touring boats (>13') or sea kayaks. (the club does have boats which can be hired on a first come first served basis)

You would need to be comfortable paddling this distance and bring the following:

Layered paddling clothes to cover different conditions
Change of clothes
Packed Lunch and Drink
Dry cloths to change into after the paddle, these could be left in the car at the start as there is no car shuttle to worry about.
 

High tide Mistley is 15:38

The aim would be to launch at Shotley at 11:15 from either https://w3w.co/stroke. besotted.slide (pontoon) or https://w3w.co/dares.gates. again (Beach) arriving Mistley 15:15 https://w3w.co/cheeks.items. discusses with a short stop mid way.

Leave Mistley 16:00 arrive Shotley 20:00.

There is a pub at either launch point in Shotley and a Tea van in Mistley .

 I have currently had interest from 6 people so there is still space if you are interested.
